This was less than ideal, as the extensive dining hours of just 5:30 to 6:30 PM rushed our transition from travel. The carvery itself was noteworthy, and while the breakfast buffet presented sufficient variety, the quality met expectations rather than exceeding them. Housekeeping was a hit-or-miss experience; while the rooms were cleaned, the lack of attention to detail was evident, particularly in the bathrooms. I noted the absence of ironing facilities-a simple amenity that can elevate the stay for many travelers. A lack of communal areas for lounging may deter those seeking relaxation within the hotel's premises.
